Recess Rallies planned for Blackburn and Davis
Recess Rally, August 22, 2009 – I received this e-mail from the American Liberty Alliance on Monday. If the organizers can schedule rallies and or protest at the Blue-Dog Congressmen’s offices, the recess time can indeed be an opportune time in order to get the legislators attention over the next few weeks before they cast their vote on the Healthcare legislation.
Since Congressman Blackburn is a staunched opponent to the socialization of healthcare, the rally at her office should be one of support and gratitude. While Congressman Lincoln Davis is one of the undecided, heat should be turned up on his behalf to make sure he knows that he will be challenged on his record by a viable candidate in 2010.
This Congressional August recess has the possibility of being a very active news cycle when usually little of note is worth reporting.
